Standards and conditions vary with every company. Plus, though these websites all deal cars, they do not all do the same thing. There are differences among brokers, importers, franchise dealers and independent suppliers in terms of the company supplying the car, the conditions and the risk of the credit you are taking. Although this is not the main focus of this article, here are a few reminders:

 

• Check every detail, especially if you are purchasing from an importer. Check if the car is an EU import or non-EU, the warranty condition, the breakdown cover and if it is right or left hand drive.
• Broadspeed and other franchise dealers are among the safest because they are used as extra advertising route of car dealers.
• Try a price-beating site such as Autoebid*. For a fee of between £100 and £300, you will agree with dealers to purchase at a price that beats your maximum range.
